Ad Astra's main complex is composed of seven pyramids. The central pyramid is the largest of the seven and has a central depression that serves as an arena for sports and other activities. Each pyramid is esentially a masive teraced earthwork, with structures covering the faces and tops. The corner teraces are used for commercial and public buildings. and zones between these structures are dedicated to residential districts. For the most part the structures built upon these teraces are no more than four stories tall, although, the total height is much greater than that.
